So when I first heard we were getting a retinol cream I was all like "okay cool...retinol". I mean I'd heard of it {I think} but I didn't really understand the fuss. How wrong was I!? This little baby is now my go-to night cream. I am in love! Seriously.

Essentially the purest form of Vitamin A for your skin, antioxident-packed retinol is one of the best ingredients for unclogging pores, boosting collagen to reduce fine lines, and speeding up cell turnover to even out discoloration and smooth the skin. Simply put, retinol helps you achieve healthier, softer, brighter, less-lined skin...awesome!

so how does this work
Apply to face each night (when skin is most receptive to repair & renewal). Mild tingling & redness is normal. This should be temporary until your skin adjusts. You’ve got to wear a sunscreen with this! You are renewing and speeding up skin cell turnover, so essentially you’ve got brand new skin coming through {continue using a sunscreen for one week after stopping use of this product}.
If you have never used retinol products before, begin by limiting use to every other night, then gradually increase frequency to once a night as tolerated. Mild peeling, dryness and inflammation is expected. It is important to apply the product to a clean & dry face. This means waiting 15-20 minutes after washing your face so that your pores have a chance to close and the product is not absorbed too rapidly.
CAUTION: Do not use vitamin A products if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult with your physician before use, if you are taking oral retinoids.
